GasOne ("the App", "we", "us") is a collection-management app used by gas agencies to record daily cylinder deliveries, cash collection, and stock. GasOne is developed and operated by TMB Tech. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, who can see it, and the choices available to you.
Who this applies to
GasOne is provided to gas agencies and used by their staff under an account created by their agency's Admin. There is no public self-signup. The roles are:
- Admin and Users of an agency, who review, approve and report on the agency's collection.
- Delivery Boys and Store Keepers, who each work from a single screen for their own entries.
- Super Admin, the platform administrators at TMB Tech, who run GasOne across agencies (companies, backups and messages).
Each agency's data is kept separate from every other agency using the App.
Information we collect
| Data | Why we collect it |
|---|---|
| Mobile number & password | Used to sign in to your account. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form; nobody at GasOne, including Admins, can view your actual password. |
| Username & role | Identifies you within your agency and determines which screens you can access. |
| Transaction & collection records | Cylinder counts, cash denominations, dates, and related notes you or your agency enter. This is the core data the App exists to record. |
| Profile photo (optional) | If you choose to upload one, it's shown alongside your account within your own agency. |
| Camera access | Used only if you choose to take a new photo for your profile picture. The App does not access the camera for any other purpose. |
| Biometric data (fingerprint/face) | If you turn on biometric login, your device's own operating system handles the fingerprint/face match. GasOne never receives or stores your biometric data. To sign you in after the match, your mobile number and password are kept in your device's secure storage, and they are removed when you turn biometric login off. |
| Device name & platform | When you sign in, the App sends your device name (for example the phone model, or the browser) and platform, so your agency's Admin can see which devices are signed in to their account. |
| Technical logs | The servers that run GasOne keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, time and errors, to keep the service running and secure. |
Device features and storage
- Unsaved entries. If the connection drops while you are filling in the grid, the unsaved rows stay on your device so you can save them once you are back online.
- Sign-in session. The App keeps your sign-in session on your device (in your browser, in the web version) so you do not have to sign in for every screen. Signing out removes it.
- Reports and exports. When you export a report (PDF or Excel) or print it, the file is delivered to your own device, and sharing it is your choice. GasOne does not send it to anyone else.
- Camera and biometrics are used only as described in the table above.
How we use this information
- To run day-to-day collection and stock-recording operations for your agency.
- To let your agency's Admin review, approve, and report on collection activity.
- To keep your account secure (sign-in, session handling).
- To provide support and to find and fix problems.
We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.
Who can see your data
We do not sell your data. It is visible only to:
- You, for your own entries.
- Your agency's Admin and, where applicable, Users with the relevant permission.
- The TMB Tech team, including the Super Admin, solely to operate, host, support and maintain the App, never for marketing or resale.
Apart from the hosting provider described in the next section, we do not share your data with anyone outside your agency, except where the law requires it.
Hosting and third parties
GasOne runs on servers provided by a web hosting provider (currently MonsterASP.NET), which stores the App's data on our behalf. If you turn on biometric login, your phone's own operating system performs the match. This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser requests the font from Google when you open it.
Security, storage and retention
Connections to GasOne are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in hashed form, and access follows the role your agency's Admin gives you. Data is stored on the servers used to operate the App and backed up periodically for recovery purposes. Transaction and account records are retained for as long as your agency's account remains active, plus a reasonable backup-retention period afterward, in line with your agency's own record-keeping needs. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been misused, contact us straight away.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, contact your agency's Admin, or reach us directly using the details below. We will coordinate with your agency to action the request.
Email us at the address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", including your registered mobile number and agency name. We will confirm and process the request, noting that some transaction records may need to be retained where your agency has a legal or accounting obligation to keep them.
Children's privacy
GasOne is a business tool for gas agency staff and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.
